Electricity
The experience of the members of the Energy Law Group (ELG) covers advice given in the context of deregulation, the construction and financing of thermal and renewable generating units and cogeneration, transmission system, central heating, privatisation, supply agreements, as well as agreements for the purchase and transport of electricity. Members of the ELG also advise on trading of electricity on the financial markets.
Members of the ELG advise clients in the wind industry in relation to the erection of wind farms, planning, obtaining permissions, as well as on issues relating to environmental questions and financing.
Oil & Gas
The experience of the members of the ELG covers negotiation, drafting and the conclusion of contracts linked to operations of exploitation (exploration, development and production), such as production sharing contracts, risk contracts or service contracts and contracts for transportation.
Members of the ELG are also experienced in providing assistance in relation to projects for the construction of gas and oil pipelines, as well as storage installations, acquisition of production facilities and service stations, planning, restructuring, development and the construction of refineries. The services provided also include assistance in the drafting and execution of oil and gas supply contracts.
Members of the ELG have extensive experience in matters relating to the liberalisation of the gas sectors in and outside Europe.
They also advise banks and financial institutions with regard to projects for the bringing on-line of oil and gas reserves.
Mining
The experience of the members of the ELG covers the representation of clients during the negotiation, the conclusion and the putting into operation of mining concessions, including the financing of projects and the obtaining of the necessary mining titles.
Water
The experience of members of the ELG covers advice given to water distribution companies and, in particular, in the context of privatisation, concession and contractual rights.
